- **Responsibilities**_
- _**Cost Estimation**:_ Prepare detailed cost estimates for interior fit-out projects by analyzing architectural plans, specifications, and other relevant documents. This includes estimating the costs of materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and other resources.
- _**Quantity Take-offs**:_ Perform precise quantity take-offs from blueprints and design documents to determine material and labor requirements for each project.
- _**Bid Preparation**:_ Compile and submit competitive bid proposals, ensuring all necessary information is included, such as pricing, timeframes, and exclusions.
- _**Market Research**:_ Stay updated on market conditions, material pricing, and labor rates to ensure that estimates are accurate and reflect current trends.
- _**Supplier & Vendor Coordination**:_ Communicate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotes and ensure the most cost-effective solutions are utilized in project estimates.
- _**Project Risk Assessment**:_Identify potential risks or uncertainties in projects and provide contingency recommendations to mitigate them.
- _**Collaboration with Project Team**:_ Work closely with project managers, architects, designers, and other team members to ensure estimates align with project goals, schedules, and client expectations.
- _**Cost Tracking & Adjustments**:_ Review and adjust estimates as projects progress, including re-estimation in case of scope changes or new project information.
- _**Value Engineering**:_ Propose alternative materials or construction methods to provide cost savings or enhance project value while maintaining quality standards.
- _**Client Interaction**:_ Present estimates to clients and provide explanations on cost breakdowns, answering any queries related to project costs and scope.
- _**Document Management**:_ Maintain accurate records of estimates, project documents, and correspondence for future reference and audit purposes.
- **Qualifications and Skills**_
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a civil estimator, specifically in interior fit-out projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards, particularly in interior construction.
- Proficiency in estimation software such as Plan Swift, Bluebeam, or equivalent, as well as standard office tools like Excel and Word.
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, architectural drawings, and specifications.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to liaise with clients, vendors, and project teams.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining accuracy.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations relevant to interior fit-out works.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 per month
