**Job Title: Waste Management Supervisor ( Local Recruitment Only)**

**Purpose**:The Operations Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising waste management activities, both solid and liquid waste, to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant operation. This role involves managing staff, equipment, and resources to meet waste management goals and regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee waste collection program activities.
- Supervise, promote, and implement recycling program activities.
- Plan daily work schedules and manage work crew timekeeping.
- Optimize collection routes and resource allocation for efficiency.
- Responsively address client questions and complaints.
- Ensure a safe work environment in line with company safety guidelines.
- Assist in departmental budget preparation and capital expenditure recommendations.
- Prepare tenders and proposals for contracted services.
- Manage department-related contractors and consultants.
- Be available for issue resolution after hours or on weekends.
- Develop, revise, and implement Standard Operating Procedures for the department.
- Fulfill other assigned duties as needed

**Requirements**:

- A degree in Environmental Science, Civil Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent qualification.
- A proven track record of 3-5 years in a supervisory role, showcasing exceptional managerial abilities.
- Must hold a valid Qatar driver's license.
- Proficiency in landfill and transfer site operations, as well as experience with waste and recycling truck management.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with workers in a courteous manner and compile diverse reports.
- Proficiency in utilizing the Microsoft Office Suite.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Experience**:

- Waste Management (Solid / Liquid Waste): 5 years (required)

License/Certification:
