**Operations Supervisor**

Reports to: Operations Manager

**Purpose**

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of logistics operations within the organization. This includes overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods. The role involves working closely with internal teams, external partners, and clients to ensure seamless logistics operations.

**What You’ll Do (Key Accountabilities)**

1. Supervision and Leadership:

- Lead and supervise a team of logistics professionals, including warehouse staff, drivers, and administrative personnel.
- Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure team members are performing their duties effectively.

2. Operations Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
- Implement and optimize operational procedures to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of logistics operations.

3. Customer Relations:

- Liaise with clients to understand their logistics requirements and expectations.
- Address and resolve customer issues, providing excellent service and maintaining positive relationships.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all shipments.

5. Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Stay informed about changes in logistics and transportation regulations.

6. Cost Management:

- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within the logistics operations.
- Develop and manage budgets for the logistics department.

7. Technology Utilization:

- Utilize logistics management software and systems to streamline operations and enhance visibility.
- Stay updated on advancements in logistics technology and recommend relevant improvements.

8. Perform other duties as assigned.

**About You**

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics operations, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in logistics management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
