**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Shutdown Planning & Coordination**:

- Lead the coordination and planning of routine and emergency shutdowns, ensuring alignment with operational goals and minimizing downtime.
- Develop and maintain detailed shutdown plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure that all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, maintenance, and safety teams to define shutdown scope, objectives, and requirements.
- **Resource Management**:

- Ensure that the required personnel, equipment, materials, and resources are available and ready for the shutdown.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to secure the necessary resources for the shutdown activities, including technicians, contractors, and specialized equipment.
- Manage logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and materials procurement for shutdown teams, especially for remote or offshore locations.
- **Safety & Compliance**:

- Ensure that all shutdown activities are conducted in compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards (e.g., HAZOP, PTW, JSA).
- Conduct pre-shutdown meetings and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- **Execution Oversight**:

- Supervise and monitor shutdown execution, ensuring that work progresses as planned and that any unforeseen issues are addressed immediately.
- Troubleshoot issues during the shutdown and coordinate swift solutions to avoid delays.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with the shutdown teams and stakeholders throughout the process.
- **Cost & Schedule Management**:

- Monitor and control the shutdown budget, tracking expenditures, labor hours, and material costs to ensure that the project remains within budget.
- Provide regular status reports and updates to management on the progress of the shutdown and any challenges or delays.
- Ensure that the shutdown is completed within the specified timeframe, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.
- **Post-Shutdown Activities**:

- Lead post-shutdown reviews and debriefings to assess the overall performance, identify lessons learned, and implement improvements for future shutdowns.
- Ensure the proper handover of equipment and systems back to operational teams, verifying that everything is fully functional and meets quality standards.
- Coordinate the preparation and submission of final shutdown reports, including performance analysis, budget reconciliation, and maintenance outcomes.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Proactively identify areas for improvement in shutdown planning, execution, and resource management.
- Work with the management team to implement improvements in safety, efficiency, and cost control for future shutdowns.
