**Job Purpose**:
To support the maintenance and repair of building systems and infrastructure, including plumbing, electrical, and general civil works, ensuring safe, efficient, and functional operations across facilities. The technician is expected to respond to maintenance requests, conduct routine inspections, and travel to various locations as needed using a company vehicle.

**Job Responsibilities and Duties**:
1. Maintenance & Repair:

- Perform routine maintenance of plumbing and electrical systems.
- Repair leaking pipes, blocked drains, faulty wiring, and other common building issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot civil, electrical, and plumbing problems quickly and efficiently.
- Replace or repair fixtures, fittings, switches, and circuit breakers.

2. Installation:

- Assist in installing new plumbing lines, electrical wiring, sockets, and light fixtures.
- Support civil-related installations such as false ceilings, partition walls, and basic masonry.

3. Preventive Maintenance:

- Conduct scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance on systems and equipment.
- Maintain logs and records of completed work, service calls, and inspections.

4. Emergency Response:

- Respond promptly to maintenance emergencies to minimize downtime or hazards.
- Be on-call for urgent repair tasks outside regular working hours if required.

5. Compliance & Safety:

- Ensure all work complies with local regulations and safety standards.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe working practices at all times.

6. Reporting & Coordination:

- Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, and team members regarding repair status.
- Drive to and from job sites as needed using a company vehicle.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
Educational Background:

- Diploma or certificate in Civil Technology, Building Maintenance, or a related technical field.

Certifications (preferred):

- Certification in plumbing or electrical work (where applicable or required by law).
- Valid Driving License (mandatory).

Technical Skills:

- Proficiency in plumbing systems, electrical wiring, and general building maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, painting, masonry, and carpentry is a plus.

Soft Skills:

- Problem-solving and critical thinking.
- Good communication and teamwork.
- Time management and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or under mínimal supervision.

**Experience**:

- 2+ years of experience in maintenance or a similar technical role preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
