**Job Title**: Logistics Coordinator
**Location**: Head Office, Doha
**Employment Type**: Full-time, 5 days a week, (Some Saturdays may be required)

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced **Logistics Coordinator** to join our team. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong organizational skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods and services across our logistics network.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate the movement of goods and materials across the supply chain, ensuring timely deliveries to customers or warehouse facilities.
- Monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and resolve any delivery or inventory issues promptly.
- Communicate with suppliers, vendors, and carriers to ensure smooth and timely transportation of goods.
- Prepare and maintain shipping documentation, including invoices, shipping labels, and customs paperwork (for international shipments).
- Manage logistics schedules, including delivery deadlines, shipment routing, and transportation methods.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including transportation laws, customs procedures, and safety standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., procurement, sales, and customer service) to resolve any logístical challenges or delays.
- Analyze and report on logistics performance, identifying areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Utilize logistics software and systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to monitor and track shipments, inventory, and logistics performance.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with transportation providers and third-party logistics partners.
- Continuously evaluate and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce transportation costs.

- **Time Management**: Coordinators must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring that deadlines are met and that logistics operations continue smoothly.
- **Knowledge of Supply Chain Management**: A good understanding of how supply chains work, including transportation, inventory management, and distribution, is crucial.
- **Computer Literacy**: Familiarity with logistics software and tracking systems, as well as general office tools like spreadsheets and databases, is a must.
- **Negotiation Skills**: Coordinators often work with vendors, carriers, and other partners, so being able to negotiate favorable terms is important.
- **Flexibility and Adaptability**: Logistics can be unpredictable, so being able to adjust to changes, like last-minute shipping issues, is an essential skill.
- **Teamwork**: Even though a logistics coordinator may work independently, collaboration with different departments, such as procurement or customer service, is key.

**Requirements**:

- **Bachelor’s Degree**: A degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred.
- **Experience**: 3-6 years of proven experience in logistics, supply chain management, and clearance processing
- Hands-on experience with government regulations, logistics tracking, and logistics planning
- **Experience with Logistics Software**: Familiarity with DHL enterprise resource planning (ERP) software or others (such as SAP, Oracle, or other supply chain management tools) would be valuable.
- **Availability**: Ability to start immediately
- Arabic Speaking preferred
- **Work Schedule**: 5 days a week, (flexibility required, some Saturdays may be required).
