Due to continued growth of this business we are currently seeking an ambitious and high potential Qatari National to join our Commercial banking team in Doha.

In this role, you will:

- Input into Relationship strategy and proactively identify new credit sales opportunities to drive RM lending revenue growth
- Receive and coordinate account maintenance requests including; mandate change and ID/VA up-dates, additional credit, debit and business card requests and limit amendments, account closer and name changes and director changes etc.
- Action customer queries including statement requests, account transfers, payments, SO/DD set-up & amendments and audit letter receipt and instruction
- Initiate and coordinate client and RM investigations including; complaints, charges and payments
- Respond to customer queries including; FX rate requests, status updates
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell group product and services as appropriate and ensure this is concluded successfully for the Bank and the customer.
- Develop effective strategies to manage customer relationships, anticipate customer needs and provide a superior quality service to position HSBC as the market leader in this segment.
- Screen and QA client documentation before forwarding to SD or 3rd parties for execution

Requirements

**To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**:

- Good knowledge of Credit and Risk management
- Having an understanding of the trade cycle and full suite of GTRF products
- Sound knowledge of the Commercial Banking structure, products and services
- Appreciation of the changing economic, social and governmental environment in Qatar
- Knowledge of international business and various industry sectors
- Knowledge and experience of using CARM, CME, HUB, Omnia and other relevant systems.
- Exposure to and appreciation of a client focused environment
- Exposure to and appreciation of working in a global environment
- Experience of professional interaction with financial services customers
- Developing professional expertise and credibility within business
- Strong ‘team’ skills promoting an environment of co-operation and trust, overcoming resistance where encountered
- Possess analytical and financial skills
- Good prioritising, organisational and time management abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of CMB policies and procedures as per CMB FIM
- Wide personal connections within the group and outside the group (chambers of commerce and other associations
