Qualification: A University bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with proficiency in English Language.
- Experience: +7 years in a major power/ industry Utility Organization / engineering firm/ contracting company with experience in construction, and maintenance for a wide range of civil engineering projects, especially the civil work of the electrical power substations.
Read and understand the project specifications & drawings as per client guidelines and industry standards for various utility jobs.

Oversee and manage the daily engineering work at different operational stages at a construction site.

Plan and prepare technical drawings and construction layouts.

Review work schedules and delegate work tasks.

Operate computers to prepare, review, and edit engineering drawings and data analysis.

Provide reports to the project management team and comprehensive site and resources schedule analysis.

Execute and manage assignments and responsibilities for the project and site team, ensuring that deadlines and deliverables are successfully achieved.

Supervise, coordinate, communicate and consult with the project site team, and contractors on executing the daily site activities. Moreover, sort out any work issues that may arise on site.

Manage projects execution work through all phases, manage the resources, and work plans to minimize construction timeline and costs.

Update, maintain and document all work on drawings, diagrams, and test reports. Attend follow-up meetings with customers, inspection agencies and other involved parties.

Drive continuous follow up, supervision and monitoring process across engineering and construction functions for different sites.

Secure and maintain Power Systems safety rules within substations and sites.

Follow and implement plans and check construction for conformance with the client and state standards and specifications.

Comply with project QA/QC procedures.

Determine site work priorities both for staffing and available resources.

Demonstrate site leadership skills and the ability to work well in team situations; be willing and able to lead and participate in cross-functional teams as required.
