Job Title: Manager - Sales (Freight forwarding)
Reporting to: Director - Freight Sales
Job Purpose: To render company's services for Air, Sea and Overland Transportation and develop business volumes with profitable revenues
Roles and Responsibilities:
Manage and work along with the sales team to promote company's services.
To work along with the sales team to increase company's market share.
Develop own clientele of B and A customers.
Selling freight for Air, Sea and Overland products profitably.
To increase the client base by working on strong pipeline of key accounts.
To support and ensure the sales team develop business from medium sized accounts for constant revenues.
Follow up on existing accounts.
Reporting day-to-day activities with the manager/supervisor.
Interacting with sales coordinators and customer services for client SOP's and freight negotiations.
Close monitor of competition/competitor rates.
To ensure payments are received from customers of self and that of the sales team. Will be responsible for collecting the payments for customers who overshoot the credit limit.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to prioritize and organize
Knowledge of industry and local market.
Effective communication and public relations.
Team player and motivator
A go getter.
Minimum Experience: With more than 10 years of experience heading a Sales team.
Salary & Benefits: QR 20000.
Benefits - 30 Days paid leave with yearly return air ticket fare to home base country for self, spouse and up to three (3) children up to the age of eighteen (18) years, per year.
Will be entitled to an educational reimbursement of up to QAR 42000 per annum on actuals, per child up to three (3) children up to the age of eighteen (18) years.
Will be covered under Company medical insurance scheme for yourself, spouse and up to three (3) children up to the age of eighteen (18) years.
