**Job Overview**:
Ensure all plant and materials are available to carryout the given works in the planned timescale. Provide all relevant information to his foreman in a timely manner. Ensure al Safety requirements are implemented. Review all Work Packs prior to the commencement of the works and sicuss with each foreman. Attend all relevant project meeting and have the required information. Keep accurate records of works performed and any delays that occur. Ensure foremen implement the required house-keeping standard on a daily basis. Liaise with Snr Paint Supervisor, all other departmental supervisors, stores, personnel, HSE & QC. Reports to Senior Paint Supervisor and Paint Superintendent. Supervises Forema, Stores Personnel.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- To be capable of communicating fluently with Crew, Formen, Superintendent and all others with whom he liases.
- Be capable of reading and understanding drawings, project painting specification and procedures and be capable of taking the correct remedial actions (Whereve capable)
- To be conversant with the specific standards applicable to the project/area of work
- To be capable of looking four weeks ahead in planning of work for the project utilize the project current plan for planning for future work
- Provide his Foremen with specification and information require to do the work efficiently, productively and safely
- Have an overall view and understanding of the project completion including but not limited to construction methodology, fab sequence and milestone dates.
- Forecast resources required for the planned work ahead (Manpower, Equipment's, etc.)
- To be able to conduct meeting with those reporting to him in an organized manner
- To set targets of production for each of those directly reporting to him, targets for Foremen
- To be able to communicate supports services in the yard, rigging, scaffolding, warehouse, facility, QC
- Provide written instruction where necessary to those directly reporting to him
- Drive the team to achieve progress, productivity, safety and quality
- Know and understand the estimated man-hours on the work packs, maintain manhours booking within estimate and provide weekly progress to production engineers
- Take actions where standards and targets are not met
- Provide accurate feedback to Superintendent
- Conduct TBT with crew, conduct safety walkthrough and address any issue of safety, check HIT process.
- Review TRA with his foremen when require and ensure it is discussed with his crew
- Maintain good housekeeping on his work area. Promote BBSM process and be responsible for his team's safety.
- Lwad bye example and make sure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Ensure inspection equipment is calibrated and keep track of the recalibration dates
- Resource planning for painting as per project schedule and fabrication sequences.
- Preparation of Project surface preparation and coating procedures, inspection test plans as per client specification.
- Review, evaluation of paint manufacturer's technical offer for paint purchase as per project specification requirements and estimation of requires paint qty as per scope
- Technical involvement to select and commmissioning of Auto blast machine, Air compresssors, spray units, Plural components pump, dehumidifier, vacuum recovery, dust collector and UHP water jet blasting machine, TSA units for painting facility.
- Performing Blaster and painter qualification as per project specification.
- Co-ordination with the QC for all inspection related activities.
- Conducting field tests like Salt level, Holiday and pull of adhesion test as per specification requirement.
- Estimation of abrasive, painting consumables for each project as per specification and project painting scope
- Participating in Project specific internal audits an in various external audits including QMS
- Audit, Client Audit, ISO audit and environment audits
- Promote implementation of QHSES inititiaves and drive achieving objectives.

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- 10 years in Offshore Construction
- High School graduate/NACE Grade II/Certified Training
- Basic computer skills
- Exposure to a multidiscipline work environment
