Direct and coordinate strategic planning, organization and execution of the HSE Management System including resource allocation, client relations, risk mitigation strategies, site audits, regulatory compliance, incident investigations, budgeting, forecasting, subcontractor pre-qualifications and training.

Manage, implement, verify and enhance the QHSE profile, culture, systems, behaviors and policies.

Lead the surveillance and recertification audits with External certification bodies for our existing ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certifications.

Recruit, interview, select, hire, schedule and allocate QHSE personnel to various projects (i.e. HSE Supervisor, Senior HSE Coordinators, HSE Coordinators, HSE Administrator)

Administer probationary, disciplinary and performance evaluations of all staff under QHSE Dept.

Plan, organize, allocate resources (i.e. labour) and execute safety programs (e.g. group risk assessments, project hazard assessments, project specific site safety plans, & training)

Organize and coordinate training, employee orientations, certifications, audits, inspections and environmental assessments and risk mitigation strategies; staff, projects and sites.

Communicate and liaise with clients on HSE issues including pre-qualification requirements, site safety plans, non-conformance items, incident investigations, pre-job meetings, close-out meetings and non-prime contractor concerns.

Deal directly with Municipal HSE Inspectors regarding non-conformance items, deficiency corrections, performance issues, case studies and new initiatives.

Source, negotiate contracts and secure third party services for training, HSE signage, and advanced first aid.

Pre-qualify contractors, issue documentation (RFPs, RFQs) and allocate risk ratings based on HSE metrics and statistics.

Provide a single business focus for accident and incident reporting and assist with subsequent investigation process.

**Qualifications**:
1. 10 years’ experience as HSE

2. Degree Qualified - 3 yr degree from recognized University

3. Diploma in HSE

4. With Nebosh IGC

5. With IOSH Managing Safety (2yrs validity)

6. COSHH (2 yr Vailidity)

7. Preferably with FM experience
