- Cleaning all food-service utensils, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and kitchen food-preparation tools either by hand or using an industrial dishwasher
- Sort and stack dishes and glasses
- Sort, polish, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
- Ensure proper use of all personal protective equipment when using chemicals and that all chemicals are properly stored and organized
- Deep cleaning of kitchen and kitchen equipment
- Sweep and mop of all kitchen floors throughout shift
- Empty kitchen and stewarding garbage, recycling, and compost bins
- Maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other assigned areas in accordance with the Alberta Health Code and Hotel Standards

**Qualifications**
- Comprehension of written and spoken English
- Previous hotel or stewarding experience an asset
- Able to meet the physical demands of the position
- High attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
- Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment
