The primary responsibility of the NOC Engineer is to:

- Pro-actively monitor and resolve events that are detected by the system monitoring toolsets.
- Be responsible for, resolving or escalating Incidents that have been logged.
- Contribute/Create and peer review Change Requests, Contribute/Create and peer review procedures or work instructions related to processes, the solution builds, device configurations or deployments
- Follow a set of daily procedures to ensure and maintain systems stability and security on behalf of MEEZA and its clients

As a result, members of the NOC team must have excellent troubleshooting skills as well as a thorough knowledge of all MEEZA’s products, services, and Service Management processes.
- Communicate effectively with internal members of staff and clients on both a business, technical and operational level
- Ability to diagnose service-related issues in complex environments
- Ability to research technical issues and discuss possible resolutions with peers or senior engineers
- To work within structured and defined service management practices (Incident, Change, Configuration, Release Management, etc)
- To work and be measured against departmental KPI’s and performance metrics
- Provide clients with clear, concise updates in relation to their solution
- Support the Service Desk, SOC, and Service Delivery Teams.

Participate within the NOC 24X7X365 support shift and standby systems
- Qualifications, Experience, & Skills:

- University Degree in IT or related field
- Current Microsoft certifications backed up with 4-5 years practical hands-on experience
- Up-to-date Microsoft Practical hands-on experience on:

- Active Directory
- Exchange
- Network analysis skills ideally in a Cisco environment
- Experience in server maintenance (Patching, hardening etc.)
- Key understanding of virtualization technologies
- SQL knowledge would be an advantage
- Office 365 and Azure knowledge would be an advantage
- Strong troubleshooting and problem analysis skills
- ITIL V3 foundation
