- Ensure the HR Department’s business plans are within agreed budgets and timescales. Provide timely, accurate and complete progress reports to the Chief Corporate Services Officer on the financial and operational progress of the department.
- Formulate and implement appropriate policies and guidelines for the development and maintenance of effective business relations with the government ministries and departments and other high ranking public officials.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensuring policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
- Work with the CEO to ensure the development of a pro-active staff communications culture through enhancements of HR processes and systems, ensuring all employees are fully aware of HR objectives, policies and procedures.

- Maintaining and reporting on workplace health and safety compliance.

Ensure that exit interviews are conducted, data maintained, and the cause of employee exits (especially top performers) is analyzed and proper measures taken.
- Assist to ensure that employee complaints / grievances are addressed through appropriate processes and that disciplinary processes are conducted promptly, fairly and in accordance with company policy and labor law.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Business Administration/HR, preferably MBA, with specialization in Human Resources from a recognized university and / or professional HR certification such as GPHR/SPHR/PHR/CIPD is preferable
- About 10 - 12 years of related experience, with a minimum of 4 - 5 years’ experience in a senior HR role in Qatar
- Experience in turnaround and change management; done couple of those turnaround initiatives.
- Experience in hospitality is preferred
- Experience in educating and coaching staff.
- Experience in conflict resolution, disciplinary processes, and workplace investigations.
- Knowledge of relevant health and safety and local aws.
