You must be able to lead and motivate a team with care, enthusiasm, honesty and your natural love of retailing must be accompanied by a real interest in the educational toy market with an ability to react quickly and work under pressure.

**Job Requirements**:

- To be mobile and flexible within Qatar operations.
- Ideally situated within reasonable commuting distance of your store.
- Must have at least **12 months retail management experience.**:

- Minimum High School Certificate or equivalent.
- English language proficiency essential - will be tested at interview along with basic numeracy.
- Arabic language skills preferred but not essential.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Sales Performance**:

- Full accountability for achieving store sales targets, conversion rates, and customer satisfaction metrics.
- Responsibility for cost management and operational efficiency.
- Ownership of inventory accuracy and shrinkage control.
- Daily analysis of sales performance (DSR) data and implement improvement actions.
- Monitor team performance against individual and provide coaching support.
- Observe competitor activities, pricing, and promotions; provide strategic recommendations to gain competitive advantage.
- Complete all reporting requirements accurately and on schedule including weekly competition reports.

**Daily Operations & Store Management**:

- Daily store preparation ensuring readiness for trade (music, tills, cleanliness, demonstrations, signage).
- Secure opening/closing procedures, cash management, DSR reconciliation, and end-of-day audits.
- Back-office administration including petty cash management and till checks.
- Staff scheduling that balances labor costs with customer service needs.
- Store maintenance, equipment functionality, and follow-up on maintenance issues until resolved.

- Monitor and maintain excellent store standards, sales performance and presentation of your team

**Skills**:
1. Able to follow and implement instructions while adapting to QATAR market requirements. 2. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic advantageous).
3. Effective planning including cultural event considerations.
4. Motivational leadership with cultural sensitivity.
5. People skills adaptable to diverse, multicultural teams.
6. Problem solving with understanding of local context.
7. Confident in engaging people from various cultural backgrounds.
8. Educational toy knowledge and child development understanding.
