Our client, a business conglomerate in Qatar is recruiting health care staff for their state-of-the-art cardiac center with a capacity of 89 beds in **Libya.**

**Job Description: Operation Room Nurse (CN2)**

**Location: Misrata, Libya**

**Salary : $1,800-$2,200 (6,570.00 (QAR) - 8,030.00 (QAR) ( 10 -12% Tax will be deducted )**

**Joining Flight Ticket: Provided by Company**

**Accommodation and Transportation : Provided by company**

**Annual Vacation : 30 days paid vacation with round trip flight ticket.**

**Job Summary**

The ICU/CCU Nurse (CN2) delivers comprehensive and specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Coronary Care Unit (CCU). This role requires continuous patient monitoring, administration of advanced life support, collaboration with physicians during complex interventions, and a strong focus on patient safety and recovery in accordance with international standards of critical care.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Critical Care & Monitoring**
- Provide round-the-clock monitoring of vital signs, hemodynamic parameters, and clinical status of critically ill patients.
- Administer medications, IV infusions, and advanced therapies, including ventilator management and cardiac monitoring.
- Respond swiftly to emergencies such as cardiac arrest, respiratory failure, and septic or hypovolemic shock.
- Perform advanced nursing interventions including airway management, IV therapy, and central line maintenance.

**Patient Care & Safety**
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical needs.
- Deliver specialized post-operative and post-cardiac event care, ensuring safe stabilization and recovery.
- Provide education and guidance to patients and families regarding conditions, treatment, and recovery.
- Uphold strict infection prevention and control protocols within the ICU/CCU.
- Accurately document interventions, patient responses, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).

**Collaboration & Communication**
- Collaborate effectively with intensivists, cardiologists, anesthesiologists, and the wider multidisciplinary care team.
- Communicate clinical updates, treatment progress, and prognosis clearly and empathetically to patients’ families.
- Contribute to ICU/CCU quality improvement initiatives, audits, and case review discussions.

**Job Knowledge & Skills**
- In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing, ventilator support, and cardiac care protocols.
- Proficiency in operating and managing life-support systems and advanced medical equipment.
- Preferred certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and decision-making skills under high-pressure conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and team interactions.
- Experience with EMR systems (SAP or equivalent preferred).

**Experience Requirements**
- At least 3 years of dedicated ICU/CCU critical care experience.
- Previous experience in GCC or international tertiary hospitals (preferred).

**Education**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Diploma in Nursing (accepted).
