**Role**:

- Performs structural design reviews using conventional and moderately complex engineering techniques and analyses. Reviews, coordinates, and monitors the works of designers/contractors, comparing designs with specifications.
- Responsible of adherence to correct implementation of the project quality plan and quality procedures and productivity related to all structural-related type works in accordance with the program of planned work on the construction site.
- Responsible for overall management of the structural design services performed by designers / contractors.
- Coordinates production of structural drawings and their release for the execution of works at construction sites.
- Reviews designer / contractor drawings submittals and provide appropriate comments.
- Responsible for management of the delivery of the design of the various projects by verifying consistency in the design with respect to adherence to the design criteria and required standards.
- Supports the review and checks of structural designs including BOQ checks and reviews and/or prepares responses to RFIs related to assigned design and construction projects.
- Reviews and/or prepares and issues specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents as necessary.
- Reviews contractor scope of work according to the contract and advise as per site condition / progress

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Structural/Civil Engineering
- At least 15 years of related work experience, 5 years of which is in Qatar/GCC Region
- Professional Engineer registration (MME/MMUP) is required if in Qatar
- Demonstrated previous PMCM experience
- Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering is required.
- Proficient experience in Civil/ Structural engineering in infrastructure, utilities and landscape projects involving design and construction works with knowledge of codes, design manuals and construction practices.
- Good written and oral communication
- Proven ability to perform key technical role
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Knowledge of current technology and its effective use on the project.
