**Job Overview**:
The Package Manager is responsible for delivering the package on schedule, within specification, within the PO price and on time to the project Required On Site date. The Package Manager will be the focal point for all communication between MDR, Company and Vendor. All direction, management and guidance to the POMT team members assigned to ensure the timely delivery of the package will be provided by the Package Manager.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:
For Tagged Items and Bulks:

- Focal point for MDR / Company and Vendor
- Reviews TBE / CBE / PR and gets approval as required
- Monitors bid basis vs actual
- Attends the final bid clarification meeting
- Reviews the PO. Understands commercial impacts
- Co-ordinates and drives all Vendor document IDC review and distribution (through the document review matrix, Engineering, QA/QC, Mechanical Completion, Project Schedule). Responsible for final approval of all Vendor documents
- Provides inputs to central filing of all Vendor correspondence in PPM’s PO file
- Control change management of “design development”
- Leads Vendor meetings both at Vendor and MDR facilities
- Attends PO Kick Off Vendor Meetings
- Attend Joint Inspection upon receipt
- Resolves technical issues until final commissioning is complete
- Manages all spares requirements
- Package Close Out

Additional responsibilities for Bulk Items:

- Identifies standards
- Drives MTO dates versus the plan requirement & defines priorities
- Reviews construction and design pads
- Proposes synergies and strategies for purchase
- Directs discipline MCS clerical activities
- Manages surplus, scrap and works inter-project allocation
- Ensures appropriate preservation and storage of delivered items until installation / fabrication
- Manages OS&D process

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering Discipline
- 5+ Years experience
- Have ownership and be accountable to the Project Director/Manager for on time delivery and as required by the project specifications.
- Be pro-active and get ahead of potential problems with Package.
- Demonstrate commercial acumen and ensure project is getting most value for money
- Ensure technical integrity and understanding of the package details.
- Maintain highest standards of ethics & compliance and in accordance with McDermott policy.
- Be able to work as part of a multi-cultural team.
- Responsible to prepare and issue minutes of meetings for all meetings attended.
- Responsible to prepare and issue monthly progress reports for packages.
- Have a current passport and be willing to travel up to 50%.
