As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity to be part of Qatar Airways Cargo Freighter Operations team in Doha as a Freighter Load Control Officer.
**About the role**
In this role, you will be responsible for centralized weight and balance functions in the QR freighter network. You will maintain safe and high-quality freighter operations at all times through effective production of freighter load plans and load sheets through CLC system.
You take a proactive approach in making necessary decisions in coordination with superiors to avoid any interruption of freighter operations related to centralized weight and balance functions.
**As part of your daily responsibilities, you will also**:
- Be responsible for full weight and balance functions consisting of preparing the load plan, generating the load sheet and optimization of the cargo load and all related functions (i.e. fuel optimization, offload decisions, changes to loading configuration, multi-sector sequence planning, etc.) for all QR freighter flights.
- Make decisions on specific cargo offloads, planning aircraft center of gravity safely, loading sequences, cargo segregations and recovery plan.
- Act as an operational focal point for weight and balance function of the freighter flights that the staff is handling.
- Ensure to cover centralized weight and balance function for all freighter flights during the shift considering freighter schedule, MVT messages rotational delays and flight diversions.
- Work in close coordination with stations for finalized UWS which must include NOTOC information based on QR regulated precision time schedule
- Prepare Loading Instructions Report(s) to instruct the ramp team where to load all ULDs on aircraft.
- Prepare and transmit preliminary and final load sheet based on the information i.e. final fuel details, crew bags details, potable water weight adjustments and ramp clearance from the station.

**Qualifications**:
**About You**
We are looking for a professional with the following skills and experience:
- Bachelor Degree or Equivalent with minimum 3 years of job related experience.
- Weight and balance certification for freighter aircraft / wide body passenger aircraft
- Valid Dangerous Goods Regulation Certification (CAT10 / CAT6 or equivalent)
- Proficiency in IATA regulations
- Good command of English
