Become the ambassador and the orchestrator of Qatar Airways Cargo VISION 2027.

As the business expands, we are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to be part of the Qatar Airways Cargo Network Planning Team in Doha as a Lead Cargo Officer - Commercial Control.

You will be responsible for monitoring the cargo revenue of every flight, within the IOC cargo window, to ensure changes made will still make the flight profitable. You will need to liaise with stations and provide information to Network Managers of any potential consequences due to freighter disruption, suggest preventative action, as well as conduct root-cause analysis for disrupted shipment movements, monitor critical FSU messages, and provide recovery plans to IOC Cargo stakeholders.

Some of the tasks include:

- Acting as a 24/7 contact for Cargo Network Team to advise on impact on flight
- and shipment-level disruptions.
- Proactively steer ad-hoc upgrades/downgrades/cancellations of flights based on predicted capacity utilization and shipment handling requirements inside the IOC cargo operational window, and provide commercial viability for ad-hoc requests of other departments to upgrade/downgrade passenger flights to accommodate shipments.
- Monitor overall shipment performance on flight level throughout QR Cargo supply chain including booking, acceptance process, trucking, QR freighters and QR passenger flight movements.
- Recommend to the IOC to adjust schedules wherever necessary due to cargo load connections by justifying revenue impact and reactionary impact.
- Providing regular feedback to Network Cargo Control Manager on major disruptions and overbooking situations which may have commercial impact.
- Analyze and provide inputs on commercial impact on suggested schedule change caused due to operational / maintenance reasons, last minute flight cancellations due to commercial reasons and ensuring that feasible rerouting options are provided.

**Qualifications**:
**About you**
- Bachelor’s degree with minimum of 4 years of relevant experience within the air cargo/ freight forwarding industry
- Knowledge of Cargo iQ/Cargo 2000 performance and analysis
- Sound knowledge of cargo reservation and tracking system, overall cargo operations and set up, and cargo supply chain.
- Good knowledge in cargo revenue management concept and solid understanding of key stakeholder functions including GHA’s, network stations, cargo operations, IOC, crew control, fuel OCC, flight dispatch, NAVATM, load masters, network planning, charter operations, dangerous goods, cargo compliance, corporate safety and security, cargo sales and customer experience.
