**About the job**:

- Kent is recruiting for Lead Civil & Structural Designer (Offshore) based in Qatar to work at one of their client’s facility and will be responsible for the following activities:_

Your responsibilities:

- Ensure design deliverables are completed and issued per project specifications, MDR/EDR and project procedures, and within agreed schedules.
- To be specialist graduated / Diploma engineer in performing of Detailed drawings of offshore/marine structures.
- To be major experience (more than 10yrs) in offshore works and specific to upstream Oil & Gas facility and Jackets & Topside fixed platform structures
- Must be well conversant in AutoCAD (mandatory) and experience in SP3D and E3D / PDMS / PDS is additional advantage.
- Carry out as-built site survey without supervision to identify, locate and gather data about topside, jacket and equipment in oil and gas operating fields.
- Must have experience in jacket and topside brownfield modifications (mandatory) related detailing/ drafting experience like deck Extension/modification drawings, Demolition drawing, Conductor protection drawings, conductor clamp and subsea structural detail drawings.
- Must have experience in brownfield installation and removal related drawing like installation/Removal sequence drawing, lifting arrangement drawings, Skidding drawings, barge location drawing and sea transportation drawings.
- Sound knowledge of welding symbols and connection details in welded and bolted.
- Experience in model review software like ACAD, E3D / PDMS / PDS / Navisworks are mandatory.
- Must have sound knowledge of fabrication and detailing knowledge for preparation and checking.
- Must have knowledge in installation and removal sequence of existing and new structures, equipment’s, construction support which include preparation of jack-up rig location drawings, installation sequence drawings etc.
- Must have knowledge of Industry and International standards, relevant to offshore brownfield, including Shell DEPS. Working experience in brownfield offshore with Engineering Design Consultancy Organizations in the Middle East.
- Review vendor documents and provide comments for structural support requirements.
- Able to handle in Concept, FEED & Detail Drafting of offshore works independently based on the scope of work of project.
- Have thorough knowledge and working experience in checking of detailed engineering drawings.
- Capable to guide/ mentor/ support other team members to meet deliverable deadlines maintaining schedule, budget, and quality.
