**About the job**:

- Kent is recruiting for Lead Civil & Structural Engineer (Offshore) based in Qatar to work at one of their client’s facility and will be responsible for the following activities:_

Your responsibilities:

- Ensure all facets of structural engineering under area responsibility for greenfield/brownfield modifications of offshore projects which shall be compliant and safety in accordance with International and COMPANY standards and guidelines like shell DEP, QatarEnergy, EN, ISO, API codes.
- To be specialist graduated engineer in performing of Detailed engineering of offshore/marine structures.
- To be major experience (more than 15yrs) in offshore works and specific to upstream Oil & Gas facility and Jackets & Topside fixed platform structures
- Able to handle in Concept, FEED & Detail Engineering of offshore works independently based on the scope of work of project and preparation of CTR, MDR, CRS, TQ etc.
- Must be well conversant in SACS (mandatory) and experience in SESAM, experience in MAT3D, MOSES and STAAD Pro is additional advantage.
- Must have experience in jacket brownfield modification related analyses like reassessment of global inplace, seismic, boat impact, jacket spectral fatigue and pushover analyses.
- Must have experience in brownfield modification related analyses like local analysis of topside, loadout and sea transportation analyses for deck extension/modification including rigging design and installation sequence knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of geotechnical data and pile foundation using PSI.
- Experience in model review software like ACAD, E3D / PDMS / PDS / Navisworks are preferable.
- To carry out miscellaneous calculation of bolted subsea clamp design, doubler plate, node plate, equipment support, monorail beam, local beam and plate checks as per international standards and codes

Your knowledge/skills, education, and experience:
**Qualification/ Certification**:
Bachelor’s degree in civil/ Structural engineering or equivalent

**Communication**:
Excellent oral and written communication and skills.

**Core Competencies**:

- Experience in preparation of the Design calculation using Excel and Mathcad and Analysis Report.
- Must have basic knowledge of fabrication and detailing drawing checking.
- Must have knowledge in installation and removal sequence of existing and new structures, equipment’s etc.

Details about the role:
**Location: Qatar**

**Relocation required: NA**

**Travel required**:At times for job requirements like Hazop attendance or critical client meetings at various other Kent offices across the globe. Also, may involve deputation to other Kent offices / Client offices on a short term or long-term basis.
