**Overview**: As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be a key member of our restaurant management team, playing a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operations of our dining establishment. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the front-of-house staff and guest services, providing leadership, support, and exceptional customer service. You will work closely with the management team to maintain high-quality standards, create a positive dining experience for our guests, and contribute to the overall success of the restaurant.
**Responsibilities**:
Team Leadership and Training:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and support personnel.
- Assist in recruiting and training new team members, ensuring they are well-equipped to deliver excellent service.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to the staff, fostering a cohesive and motivated team environment.
Customer Service Excellence:
- Lead by example, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Address guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly, striving to resolve issues to their satisfaction.
- Ensure that the restaurant team delivers a memorable dining experience to all customers.
Operations Management:
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and timely service.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service to uphold consistent standards.
Health and Safety Compliance:
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are strictly adhered to by the restaurant staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, enforcing sanitation and hygiene practices.
Supporting Financial Goals:
- Assist in monitoring sales performance, guest counts, and customer feedback to contribute to financial targets.
- Implement cost-control measures to optimize operational efficiency without compromising service quality.
Assisting with Training and Development:
- Support the management team in implementing training programs for staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Offer feedback and suggestions for improvements to enhance overall staff performance.
Handling Shift Management:
- Oversee the smooth operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
- Manage staff scheduling to ensure adequate coverage while controlling labor costs.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within the restaurant or hospitality industry.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Strong leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and guide the front-of-house staff.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, including service standards and procedures.
- Detail-oriented and organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Flexibility to work during peak business hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
