**About the role**:
As a Security Duty Officer you will be to oversee day-to-day physical security functions at QACC Security Operation Centre (QSOC), ensuring all security measures are in compliance with Flight Catering Operator Security Program, local/ international regulations and all instructions and procedures issued by the Head of Department. Protect interest of QACC including staff, equipment and asset preventing acts of unlawful act of interference, theft, property damage, sabotage etc. Ensure that QACC comply with QR Group policies, international regulatory security procedures and recommendations, ICAO, IATA and QCAA.

**Accountabilities**:

- Responsible to ensure compliance with all aviation security regulations and procedures outlined in the Flight Catering Operator Security Program (FCOSP). Protect QACC by avoiding unlawful acts of interference, theft, damage, sabotage, intentional introduction of FOB, etc. at Hamad International Airport (HIA).
- Lead a team of QACC Security Supervisors and security service provider employees and assigned to the respective shift at QACC.
- Respond to day to day requests relating QACC Security Operations with internal and external stakeholders. Ensure aviation security compliance by briefing, monitoring and debriefing QACC Security Supervisors & security service providers.
- Perform monitoring via CCTV and special tasks as assigned by Head of department.
- Complete reports as needed and provide a 24/7 capability to resolve security operational issues as they arise across QACC.
- Ensure that security performance standards of security service provider employees meet aviation security procedures outlined in Flight Catering
- Operator Security Program and prepare non-compliance SLA's for management review within stipulated timelines.
- On a daily basis, coordinate with internal stakeholders and law enforcement agencies to handle QACC security operations at HIA.

**Qualifications**

**About you**:
High School Qualification with Minimum 4 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor's Degree with Minimum 3 years of job-related experience.

**Job Specific Skills**:

- Good working knowledge of general security operations requirements
- Understanding of airline operations & security requirement from an in-flight catering
- Command of English language
- Working knowledge to manage a control and command center
- Understanding of security investigations & reporting procedures
