**Essential Functions**:

- Managing the review, installation, and coordination of utilities and installation of new and relocated equipment campus wide.
- Overseeing external contractors to maintain, improve, and modify existing building utilities and systems. Providing daily engineering oversight of projects, alterations, repairs, and installations.
- Providing technical support to customers, and partnering with users to develop and implement solutions.
- Work with Project Engineering to develop site infrastructure design and provides suggestion for the selection, installation, & commissioning of Research and Facilities systems.
- Create CAD plans for MEP design & engineering internally for Facilities Operations project work and reviews these documents from third party contractors in support of the Facilities project management group.
- Thoroughly review capital project MEP plans, creates sketches, suggests options, and provides engineering support to the Management and Project team as needed. Work with hired MEP engineers, consultants and contractors to answer questions and develop solutions as needed

**Skills**
- Have a strong understanding of the fundamentals of HVAC, plumbing, IT systems, electrical systems, lighting design, and building automation, and are an authority specialized in one of these fields.
- Have strong communication skills to effectively present and communicate highly technical ideas to peers and business partners.
- Are capable of managing multiple projects and initiatives at the same time
- Have experience managing or supervising contractors and small-scale construction projects
- Enjoy troubleshooting field issues and solving sophisticated engineering problems
- Can work well both independently and as part of a team

**Requirements**:

- Degree / Diploma or Equivalent in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering Preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in relevant field including MEP consulting or facilities engineering.
- Experience utilizing engineering design programs (CAD or BIM); experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and energy management systems preferred.

**Salary**: QAR8,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
