This role is pivotal in ensuring that project deliverables meet client expectations, regulatory requirements, and internal standards from start to finish.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead and manage the QA/QC department to ensure high-quality execution of construction works in line with project specifications, standards, and regulations.
- Develop and implement comprehensive QA/QC plans, procedures, ITPs, and checklists for all construction activities.
- Oversee material inspections, testing protocols, and ensure proper documentation and traceability.
- Supervise a team of QA/QC engineers, inspectors, and coordinators; provide mentoring and support.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Client Representatives to address quality issues and deliver compliant work.
- Conduct internal audits and manage external audits with consultants or clients.
- Identify quality risks and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Maintain records of inspection reports, NCRs, quality logs, and test results.
- Ensure continuous improvement of QA/QC practices across all sites.
- Ensure adherence to international standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant project codes.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or relevant technical discipline (Master’s degree is a plus).
- **Minimum 15 years of experience** in QA/QC roles within the construction industry.
- **At least 7 years in a QA/QC Manager leadership role.**:

- Strong understanding of international quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001), codes, and construction specifications.
- Hands-on experience in high-rise buildings, infrastructure, or large-scale industrial projects.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
- Proficient in QA/QC software tools, MS Office, and documentation practices.
- Ability and willingness to relocate and work full-time in **Rwanda**.
