**Job Profile Summary**

The Project Director plays a pivotal role in providing direction and management overseeing all Project Managers (PMs), to assure on-schedule completion within or below budget and per contractual obligations. Initiates and sets goals for the PMs and projects to the planned goals of the Country Manager and corporate strategy.

They must have deep knowledge and understanding of roadway and infrastructure design principles, standards, and regulations. This includes ability in understanding required design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, integration of BIM, and other relevant tools.

**Specific Responsibilities**
- Initiate and set goals for the project managers and projects according to the strategic goals of the Country Manager.
- Establishes the program requirements for all areas of the project and checks the deliverables for adherence to these criteria.
- Oversees establishment of Project Execution Plan, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as needed.
- Acts as the Company representative with the client and selected subcontractors during the program execution.
- Negotiates changes to the scope of work with the client and key subcontractors.
- Collaborates with Business Development to market and secure additional work with client.
- Responsible for following up on instructions and commitments associated with the project.
- Responsible for the development and distribution of a project summary to all members of the project team for reference.
- Works with the key project individual to devise and execute actions plans to rectify potential cost overruns or delays, or to accommodate significant changes to the scope of work; advises the client and company management of any such changes.
- Responsible for maintaining current and timely change orders.
- Monitors and reports to Country Manager on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule.
- Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

**Skills and Competencies**
- Ability to meet Parsons’ project management certification requirements.
- Advanced leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacity.
- Supervise all projects and project managers involved to provide feedback and resolve complex problems.
- Devise evaluation strategies to monitor PMs performance and determine the need for improvements.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills
- Thorough knowledge of industry practices and regulations
- Advanced knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
- Must be capable of managing a project valued up to $1 billion (USD) in total installed cost.

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical/business field. Master’s Degree preferred.
- MME Registration is required.
- 20+ years of related work experience.
- Thorough technical and business background.
- Significant project management or construction management assignments at a Program Director level.

**Licenses and Certifications**
- Professional registration in related engineering field required.
