Bim Coordinator

**Job Summary**:
BIM Coordinator plays a crucial role in engineering consultancies, utilizing Building Information Modeling (BIM) software to create digital representations of buildings and infrastructure projects. They work collaboratively with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the efficient design, construction, and maintenance of projects.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Create detailed 3D models of buildings and infrastructure projects using BIM software.
- Manage and organize project data within the BIM environment.
- Coordinate BIM models with various project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Identify and resolve clashes or conflicts between different building components.
- Create visualizations and animations to communicate design concepts and project progress.
- Prepare presentations using BIM models to explain project details to clients and stakeholders.
- Generate accurate quantity takeoffs and cost estimates using BIM data.
- Conduct energy modeling and sustainability assessments using BIM tools.
- Prepare BIM-related documentation, including manuals and handover packages.
- Work effectively in a collaborative team environment, contributing to the overall project success.
- Assist in developing construction plans and schedules based on BIM data.
- Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, and contractors, to ensure effective BIM implementation.
- Integrate BIM models with other project systems, such as scheduling software and cost management tools.
- Prepare BIM-related documentation, including manuals and handover packages.
- Deliver BIM models and associated data to clients or project stakeholders as required
- Oversee and manage the Work in Progress (WIP) using the Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) platform.
- Coordinate BIM models with various project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, and contractors.
- Create visualizations and animations to communicate design concepts and project progress.
- Prepare presentations using BIM models to explain project details to clients and stakeholders.
- Review and Approval of the BIM & other related documents starts from the commencement stage
- Manage the process of model audit and set up the model accuracy checklist.
- Ensure that BIM models and drawings (IFC, shop drawings, as-built) are submitted in compliance with standards and procedures, and oversee their review and approval.
- Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality department requirements and Audits.
- Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Business development & tenders management activities
- To ensure, Implement, Maintain quality, safety and environmental systems in compliance with ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 standards
- Provide the support and cooperation in regards to the Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental department requirements and Audits.
- To Report and record the QHSE dept. non-conformities and in coordination with QHSE dept for closure.
- Identifying, evaluating, and controlling hazards and risks in the workplace, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and promoting a culture of quality, health, safety & environmental within the organization.
- Understanding, support and follow the waste management system
- Coordinate and contact the organization ERT team during in emergency case
- Record, report the incidents and near misses to the management and QHSE dept.

**Required Skills**:

- Proficient in creating accurate and detailed 3D models
- Creating 4D Time liner,5D,6D,7D
- Collaboration of models using BIM 360 or ACC platform
- Clash check reporting and resolution tracking
- Implement proper BIM standards protocol with the project team
- Generates Models & Drawings (LOD 100 to LOD 500)
- Ability to identify and resolve issues related to BIM modeling and project coordination.
- Attention to detail to ensure the accuracy and quality of BIM models.
