**Job Description**:
As a Sous Chef in the hot kitchen department at Royal Cup, you will work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team to oversee the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Assisting the Head Chef in planning and developing menus that align with Royal Cup's culinary standards and customer preferences.
- Supervising and participating in the preparation of hot kitchen dishes, ensuring they meet quality and portion control standards.
- Training, mentoring, and supervising kitchen staff to maintain high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Monitoring inventory levels of ingredients and kitchen supplies, and placing orders as needed.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Collaborating with other kitchen departments to coordinate food preparation and ensure timely service.
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage of food items and equipment maintenance.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of cost-saving measures and waste reduction strategies.
- Supporting special events and catering functions as required.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience working as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a high-volume, upscale restaurant or hotel environment.
- Strong culinary skills and a passion for creating exceptional dishes using fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Excellent leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
- Solid understanding of kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with other team members.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
