The restaurant host/hostess is the first point of contact for guests, responsible for creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. They manage reservations, guide guests to their tables, and ensure smooth communication between the front-of-house team and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet guests warmly as they arrive and thank them upon departure.
- Manage reservations and walk-ins efficiently using a booking system (if applicable).
- Escort guests to their assigned tables and provide menus.
- Monitor table availability and manage the seating chart to ensure a smooth flow of service.
- Handle guest inquiries and accommodate special requests or seating preferences.
- Communicate with servers and management about guest needs or special occasions.
- Keep the entryway, waiting area, and hostess stand clean and organized.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- Organizational skills to manage reservations and seating efficiently.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during busy times.
- Knowledge of the restaurant’s menu, hours of operation, and policies.
- Prior experience as a host/hostess or in a customer service role

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: From QAR2,500.00 per month
