**Health, Safety and Environment Officer / Team Leader** (Third party certification required - International standard)

Key Responsibilities:

- Safety Officers are responsible for organizing their workload so that no harm will come to them or anyone else during their work activities. They have to make sure that employees can complete the tasks without causing any damage to the workplace or anyone else.
- Reporting and keep updated for site condition to Fit-out Safety Manager and Safety Engineer/Supervisors.
- Check workers to ensure that they are wearing the right type of PPEs (helmets, jackets and safety shoes) before they begin their shift.
- Inspect workplace at the beginning of each day to make sure it is safe for operation.
- (Ensure availability of fire extinguishers, fire blanket and trained fire watcher at hot work location).
- Perform inspection on equipment and tools that workers will use during their shift. (Verifies that all tools and equipment are adequate and safe for use).
- Communicate essential safety standards to workers during each walkthrough stage regardless of how many times it has been repeated.
- Stop any unsafe acts or processes that seem dangerous or unhealthy.
- Correct unsafe acts or conditions through the regular line of authority.
- Responds to employees’ safety concerns.
- Promotes safe practices at the job site.
- Perform accident investigations to gauge measures that need to be taken to prevent them the next time.
- Supervise and attend to hot work permit or specialized PTW
- Continuous inspection of project sites, to ensure a hazard-free environment

Qualifications:

- Well experience in HSE
- Nebosh Entry Certificate is a MUST
- With own visa - Freelance visa
