About the Role:

Total Safety is seeking a proactive
Safety Officer
to support
Day-to-Day (D-t-D), Turnaround (TAR), and project activities
within the oil & gas sector. The role focuses on implementing QHSE programs, ensuring compliance, and maintaining a strong safety culture across onshore worksites.

Key Responsibilities:


• Support Site Coordinator and Supervisors in implementing the
QHSE Management System


• Ensure contractors and personnel comply with company and client HSE policies and standards


• Implement and monitor safety measures during
D-t-D, TAR, and project activities


• Identify, assess, and document hazards, risks, and control measures


• Conduct and document emergency response drills and monitor workforce readiness


• Execute HSE inspections required for D-t-D and TAR activities


• Enforce
Permit to Work (PTW)
procedures on site


• Oversee
Stop Work Authority (SWA)
and safety observation programs


• Supervise temporary work areas and high-risk activities


• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of hazardous materials


• Maintain internal and external HSE reporting


• Provide HSE guidance to operations to ensure full compliance with site/plant requirements

Requirements:


• Minimum
3 years' experience in oil & gas HSE roles


•
NEBOSH IGC – Mandatory


• Experience working in
confined spaces
and high-risk industrial environments


• Physically fit; able to work
under direct sun and hot weather conditions


• No height phobia


• Good communication skills in
English
