**Job Title**: Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician (Cold & Hot Section)

The Kitchen Equipment Maintenance Technician is responsible for the **routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair** of commercial kitchen equipment in both **cold (refrigeration)** and **hot (cooking/heating)** sections. The technician ensures all equipment is operating efficiently, safely, and in compliance with health and safety standards.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform **preventive and corrective maintenance** on kitchen equipment including:

- **Cold equipment**: refrigerators, freezers, walk-in coolers, chillers, ice machines.
- **Hot equipment**: ovens, grills, fryers, steamers, hot plates, combi ovens.
- **Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults**, replace or repair faulty components (compressors, thermostats, elements, fans, etc.).
- **Install, test, and calibrate** new kitchen equipment when required.
- Maintain **equipment service logs and maintenance records**.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with **food safety, hygiene, and safety regulations**.
- Respond to urgent maintenance calls and minimize kitchen equipment downtime.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and facility management to plan maintenance activities.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Technical diploma or certification in refrigeration, HVAC, or electrical/mechanical maintenance.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in maintaining both hot and cold kitchen equipment.
- Strong knowledge of kitchen systems (gas, electrical, steam, water).
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with HACCP and health & safety standards.
- Good troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.

Pay: QAR3,500.00 - QAR4,000.00 per month
