**Job Description: -**

Responsible for supervising work crews in the maintenance and repair of the municipal water distribution system relating to drinking water and fire suppression hydrants. Acts for the Water and Sewer works Supervisor.
- Perform all work and operate all equipment related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of well, water lines, service connections and appurtenances. Oversees and assists work crew maintaining and making repairs to the water distribution system.
- As “competent person” on job site, determines methods and practices to be used to perform the required work in a safe, efficient and effective manner. Determines how excavations in the roadway are to be made and whether it is safe for employees to enter a trench. Confers with Supervisor as necessary to resolve unusual situations.
- Creates records of work done and generates reports for supervisor. Maintains material and supply inventories. Purchases small tools and supplies when needed to complete a job. Create and maintain files of water service connections and valves for all property in the town.

As requested. Is responsible for responding to emergency stand-by calls.

May act for and in the absence of division supervisor, including supervision of water treatment personnel.

Provide new employees with training to perform the skills necessary for marking out services and mains, and making repairs to service connections and mains.

Responds to inquiries from the public at work sites about the nature of the work being performed.

Bachelors Degree

Minimum 05 years of Experience

Work Location: All Over Qatar

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: QAR4,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
