The Construction Engineer will handle engineering assignments of broad scope and complexity, and will be responsible for planning, developing, and overseeing projects for Construction Operations. Facilitate the construction designs, layout, and project documentation and ensure that the designs are implemented with utmost safety and that the whole process flows efficiently by continuously monitoring quality.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for providing constructability review and studies of designs and construction processes from start to finish during engineering and pre-construction phases.
- Provide advice and support in the construction contractor selection process.
- Maintain compliance with the safety analysis plan so that work is accomplished in an environmentally sound manner using safe work practices.
- Participate in Engineering reviews, and work together with the engineering team to identify, define, make changes, execute phases, and help improve the project's design based on issues encountered in the field.
- Assist with the documentation of lessons learned. Develop a process improvement plan from the lessons learned, recommendations, and feedback received.
- Attend various meetings regarding safety, environmental compliance, scheduling, and planning to provide updates. Coordinate with groups to ensure proposed construction and work methods are clearly understood and ensure agreement on environmental and safety.
- Conduct safety observations and conversations to help achieve a zero-incident culture.
- Oversee and observe quality control (QA/QC)
- Review and approve installation contractors' procedures
- Provides onshore/offshore execution planning readiness
- Ensures compliance to industry construction standards
- Leads resolution of all technical challenges related to the scopes of work

**Requirements**:

- Experience and knowledge of construction activities associated with the commissioning and decommissioning of Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas Facilities - Preparation Scopes of Work.
- Experience and knowledge of the planning and timely delivery of Onshore/Offshore construction execution in an offshore/offshore brownfield environment.
- Experience of providing input into and participation in project reviews such as constructability reviews, Lay-out reviews, SIMOP reviews & HAZIDs during detailed design and engineering.
- Experienced in review of construction deliverables including Scopes of Work and Construction Work packs, Method Statements.
- Experience in carrying out review of construction engineering and offshore execution manhours estimates.
- Experience in providing guidance to contractor in the system completion activities, certification (inspection & testing) of construction activities and close out of work packs.

**Skills / Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mechanical, Construction Engineering, or related Engineering field
- Minimum 07 years' experience in Oil and Gas related projects
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil and Gas Project Delivery as Work pack Developer / Construction Engineer in a multidiscipline workforce
- Minimum 5 years' offshore experience on installation and construction works
- Experience with diving construction work, pipeline installation and related construction activities
- Project Management, Construction Engineering & Management Transportation & Installation
- Logistics Management
- Strong influencing, interpersonal and team leadership skills.
- Strong writing and computing skills, Fluent English language skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of cost control, cost reporting, and project schedule management.
- Strong understanding of construction specifications, laws and regulations that affect the projects.
