Workshop Supervisor
**Position**:Workshop Supervisor
**Reports To**: Operations Manager / Logistics In-Charge
**Location**: Saniya
**Department**: Garage and Plant, Machinery & Vehicles (PMV)

**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Workshop Management**
Supervise all workshop operations, including vehicle and equipment repair, maintenance, and servicing.
Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure mínimal downtime.
Oversee inventory management of tools, spare parts, and consumables.
Ensure all work is completed to industry standards and within set timelines.
**2. PMV Coordination**
Manage the PMV fleet, including tracking and scheduling usage.
Coordinate with the logistics in-charge to meet operational requirements efficiently.
Monitor the performance and condition of PMV assets and arrange for necessary repairs or replacements.
Maintain accurate records of fleet operations, maintenance, and inspections.
**3. Team Leadership**
Supervise and train workshop staff, including mechanics and technicians.
Assign tasks and monitor performance to ensure optimal productivity.
Foster a safe and collaborative working environment.
**4. Health, Safety, and Compliance**
Enforce adherence to safety protocols and industry regulations.
Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments within the workshop.
Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulatory requirements.
**5. Administrative Duties**
Maintain detailed logs of all maintenance and repair activities.
Prepare reports on workshop operations, including costs, resource usage, and performance metrics.
Budget and manage costs associated with workshop operations.

**Key Skills and Competencies**:
Strong knowledge of vehicle and machinery maintenance and repair.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Effective communication and coordination abilities.
Proficiency in workshop management systems and record-keeping.
Understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in workshop supervision or similar roles.
- Familiarity with PMV operations and logistics coordination is an advantage.
- Hands-on experience with fleet management and workshop tools.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Performance Indicators.
- Timeliness and quality of repairs and maintenance.
- Workshop operational efficiency and productivity.
- Adherence to safety and compliance standards.
- Effective coordination with logistics and PMV teams.
- Cost management and resource utilization.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
