**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Set up and operate **4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines**.
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings, CAD/CAM files, and technical specifications.
- Create, edit, and optimize CNC programs (using software such as **Mastercam, Siemens, Fanuc, or Heidenhain controls**).
- Select and install proper tooling, fixtures, and work-holding devices.
- Monitor machining operations, adjust feeds, speeds, and paths to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform precision measurement and inspection of finished parts using calipers, micrometers, CMM, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot machining issues, identify errors, and make corrective actions.
- Maintain machine cleanliness, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with engineers and production teams to ensure accurate and timely job completion.
- Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards (ISO / AS9100 if applicable).

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Minimum **3-5 years’ experience** in CNC milling operations.
- Strong background in **4-axis and 5-axis CNC machining & programming**.
- Proficiency in CNC control systems (Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or equivalent).
- Hands-on experience with **CAD/CAM software** (e.g., Mastercam, NX, SolidCAM).
- Strong understanding of machining processes, cutting tools, speeds, feeds, and materials (steel, aluminum, titanium, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret **blueprints, GD&T symbols, and technical drawings**.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong commitment to safety, precision, and quality.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience in aerospace, automotive, or precision engineering industries.
- Knowledge of CNC machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing practices.
