Finance Business Partner

**Introduction**

Arla MENA is the largest and most profitable Region within Arla’s International Zone and comprises various JV models in big markets such as Saudi Arabia, UAE, and Oman, as well as growth drivers like Qatar, Kuwait, and Iraq, and distributor sales models towards several other MENA markets. MENA has been on a strong growth trajectory and plans are in place to continue the strong growth in the coming years.

You will be located at the head office of Arla Foods Qatar in Doha, with a direct reporting line to the local GM and a dotted line to the UOQ Finance Business Partner. Additionally, you will be working closely with the finance team in our local partner company as well as the MENA finance team.

**Key responsibilities of the role**

You will play a key role in driving the finance agenda in our Qatar business, and responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

- Preparing, managing and presenting relevant reports of Financial Statements (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow)
- Taking ownership of Monthly Financial Forecast Processes
- Preparing and presenting financial decks for management reviews and regional financial forecasts
- Giving strategic financial guidance to the GM and anticipating performance challenges
- Owning proper and accurate reflection of Trade (Discounts - BDA, TPR, Returns, Campaign Discounts) and Marketing investments in Actuals under the existing ERP systems.
- Drive the commercial performance dialogue including development of reporting, profitability analysis, etc.
- Monitoring NWC and DSO and the Cash flow
- Helping the sales team to improve the sales forecast accuracy with the required analysis
- Track the sales contribution performance with sharp eye on promotions and discounts level by product, channel & category
- Conduct Trial Balance month-end closing to ensure accurate financial records
- Monthly review of the company tax status with the accounting lead and external auditors
- Evaluate and improve in collaboration with other departments company policies and procedures to increase efficiency and accuracy

The role is broad, and you will be responsible for our core finance processes like consolidation of the monthly results and the monthly financial forecasts, while assisting with analysis and preparation of material for the Qatar Leadership Team. In addition to this, you will take an important role as finance business partner to the commercial team in Qatar, providing transparency into our performance and help the team drive our business forward.

**Your profile**

You hold a degree in Economics, Finance, or Management Accounting and 5+ years of experience in a relevant role, preferably within finance. As you will be responsible for our performance management agenda, so you will need the skills - and the appetite - to drive both.
