**Job Summary**:
Lead Structural Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the structural integrity and stability of the projects, overseeing all aspects from design review and implementation to construction and quality control. He will guide and mentor junior engineers while collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders to deliver exceptional results.

**Duties & Responsibilities, (include but not limited to)**:

- Lead and manage the structural engineering team on assigned construction projects.
- Thoroughly review and interpret structural drawings and specifications, ensuring compliance with codes and standards.
- Develop comprehensive structural construction plans and procedures.
- Collaborate closely with architects, project managers, and other engineers to guarantee seamless integration of structural elements.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and inspection of structural components, including foundations, framing, and load-bearing elements.
- Identify and resolve structural engineering challenges during construction phases.
- Conduct routine quality control inspections, ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.
- Prepare technical reports and documentation, including as-built drawings and structural analysis reports.
- Manage project budgets and timelines for assigned structural work.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers on the team, fostering their professional growth.
- Stay updated on the latest structural engineering technologies and best practices.
- Forecast requirements for structural engineering resources and allocate those resources.
- Check compliance with QA/safety/environment goals.
- Manage structural engineering design and any design changes within budget and schedule.
- Evaluate new technology advancements against existing design standards and revise where applicable.
- Leverage Building Information Modeling (BIM) to create plans, drawings, and details.
- Incorporate the requirements of the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) contract, customer Requests for Proposals (RFPs), professional service agreements, or other contractual requirements ensuring the projects meet or exceed project goals.

**Education & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in civil/structural engineering. with at least 5 years in a lead role.
- Proven expertise in structural analysis and design principles for various building types.
- Extensive knowledge of relevant building codes and standards (e.g., ACI, AISC, IBC).
- Knowledge and experience with BIM software: Revit preferred, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.

Regular, reliable attendance
- Must possess UPDA grade A
