We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager - Upstream Gas to serve the Middle East market and to be based locally in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. The RSM will be responsible for the product sales of Axens portfolio of Adsorbents & Claus Catalysts to regional customers in the GCC + Iraq.

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for growing our catalyst and adsorbents sales in the Upstream sector. This includes promoting the Axens Gas Offer to develop new and existing customers.

This position reports to the Middle East Gas Sales Director and is part of the Commercial Group.

**MAIN ACTIVITIES**:
As a Regional Sales Manager, your main missions are:

- Support the Sales Director in executing the Strategic Sales Plan for the region, including key targets, annual sales budget (revenues and gross margin), as well as other performance objectives
- Ensures detailed business/sales plans are in place with regular follow up
- Communicate customer technical, business and logistics needs so that internal resources can be prioritized appropriately
- In case of extended scope (services, tech support, etc.) beyond the sole supply of adsorbents/catalysts, you are in charge of internal coordination to meet and execute the delivery of such extended scopes
- Define re-load opportunities, with regular updates of overall market mapping
- Introduce, promote, and obtain the qualification of Axens and its new products
- Maintain customer records per guidelines with an emphasis on contacts, scheduled meetings, call reports, and important documents
- Prepare and present commercial proposals
- Monitor competitive activity and provide information as available while meeting
- Forecast annual, monthly, and quarterly sales revenue and product demand in the forecasting system
- Update weekly, with a final monthly update by the 1st week of the month on sales and other relevant activities
- Attend worldwide and regional sales meetings online or in person
- Provide a monthly summary of customer and market issues and events by the required date using a standard internal format
- Maintain the CRM system and ensure data is continually updated per guidelines.
- Submit Won/Loss reports for all significant sales events and communicate internally to execute as needed
- Assist in identifying and communicating project opportunities for other Axens businesses to the appropriate business
- Assist in organizing and participating in sales and technical conferences

**KNOWLEDGE & REQUIRED LEVEL**:

- At least 5-7 years of total working experience in the upstream sector, including direct experience in Sales of services/solutions to upstream customers of no less than 5 years in the Middle East region
- Proven experience in the overall sales process, from the initial phases of prospection to order
- Good technical understanding and experience with catalysts & adsorbents
- Required language(s): English. Arabic is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to sell into a competitive marketplace and achieve premium prices by communicating the value gained by the customer using Axens products and services
- Demonstrated ability to work and interface effectively with other sales and support functions to move projects forward in a positive manner
