Project Manager

**Job Overview**:
Project Manager is responsible for financial and technical success of a medium to large size Onshore Pipeline project (on schedule and within budget). Also responsible for ensuring the Project is administered and executed to the satisfaction of the client in accordance with the highest ethical and safety standards and compliant to the company policies and procedures.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**:

- Manage, leads and will be overall responsible for the Onshore Pipeline Project including:

- Ensuring project meets or exceeds budgeted financial objectives
- Creating and managing the baseline budget (Managing changes to the budget, forecasting, controlling budget shifts)
- Creating and managing baseline schedule (resource allocation, re-scheduling, identifying/managing critical path, managing progress, forecasting)
- Creating and maintaining Project Execution Plan for the responsible SOW and ensuring execution of the SOW in accordance with the Project Execution Plan and relevant Project Execution Procedures
- In consultation with the team, outlining project deliverables required to execute the SOW
- Managing the progress of the vendors and subcontractors
- Establishes maintains a close and productive relationship
- Initiate and leading timely progress meetings
- Manage/authorizing of SOW changes through the MOC procedure
- Identify, communicate and resolve issues as they relate to the SOW and its execution
- Managing project team
- In conjunction with functional leads responsible for staffing the project
- Facilitate communication between Project Team members and other stakeholders
- Initiate and lead weekly project status meeting, identify actions and ensures close out of actions
- Responsible for overall team and team members’ performance
- Allocation of work within project team
- Develops manpower requirements for the scope of work
- Managing overall project execution
- Provide weekly progress reports and monthly project status reports
- Provide input to, and participate in, monthly project status report meetings with executive management
- Report and escalate any potential issues that could impact the project scope of work, budget, schedule and overall performance as a whole
- Liaises with Functional Leads to:

- Identify, resolve and, where required, escalate issues
- Ensure cross functional (team) communication and cooperation
- Agree, communicate and record on responsibilities of interfacing SOW and/or activities
- Responsible for managing changes in the scope of work through adhering to the MOC procedure
- Identifying and mitigating project of Risks and identifying and developing plans to materialize on project opportunities by maintaining a project “PROM”
- Identifying project KPI’s and based on KPI’s identifying areas of improveme

**Essential Qualifications and Education**:

- Ability to work as a team member as well as act as team leader.
- Have wide experience with project management/execution of EPCI projects in the marine/offshore industry
- Maintain key competencies associated with the Project Management function
- Good communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken
- Thorough knowledge of, and experience in civil, pipeline, electrical and mechanical disciplines
- Soft skills in Microsoft Office suit and experience with scheduling software (MS-Projects/Primavera)
- Be conversant with local and international QHSES laws, regulations and norms.
- Experience in interfacing with Client, local authorities and other stake holders in planning, approval and execution of EPCI projects
