Join Our Team as a **Head of Maintenance**

Are you an experienced maintenance leader with a passion for operational excellence and team development? We’re looking for a Head of Maintenance to lead our maintenance function, ensuring both reactive and proactive multi-skilled services across our equipment and facilities infrastructure.

**Key Responsibilities**

As our Head of Maintenance, you will:

- Lead reactive and proactive maintenance across all equipment and facilities. Develop and implement a robust Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule to ensure mínimal downtime and optimal machine availability.
- Plan, oversee, and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks, including routine site checks.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery, increase equipment uptime, and improve product quality.
- Identify deficiencies in training, working practices, and processes; recommend and implement effective changes and continuous training programs.
- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects, assessing their impact on maintenance activities and ensuring seamless integration.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and promote a safety-first culture.
- Mentor and manage a team of multi-skilled maintenance professionals. Lead the introduction and installation of new machinery and equipment, from specification to supplier management and commissioning.
- Manage the safe and lawful disposal of obsolete machinery, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Perform root cause analysis to resolve technical problems and identify opportunities for business improvements.
- Develop and manage KPIs, ensuring alignment with operational objectives and reporting performance metrics.
- Conduct risk assessments on processes and tasks within the maintenance department.
- Manage departmental budgets, prepare forecasts, and oversee capital expenditure proposals, ensuring legal and company standards are met.

**What We’re Looking For**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required).
- At least 5 years in a leadership role, ideally in the plastic pipe manufacturing industry.
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Strong technical expertise in maintenance management & best practices
- Experience implementing PPM schedules & leading equipment optimization
- Commitment to HSE standards & fostering a safety-first culture
- Analytical problem-solving with a continuous improvement mindset
