Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Head Chef located in Doha, Qatar. The Head Chef will oversee daily kitchen operations, manage the culinary team's performance, ensure food quality and consistency, and enforce food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities will also include managing inventory and supplier relationships, and maintaining cost control without compromising quality. The role involves a hands-on approach to leading the culinary team and ensuring an outstanding dining experience for guests.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in professional culinary preparation, menu innovation, and food presentation
- Strong leadership abilities in managing kitchen staff, team collaboration, and training processes
- Expertise in creating and maintaining food safety, hygiene, and kitchen operational standards
- Sound knowledge of inventory management, cost control, and supplier negotiations
- Formal culinary training and certifications are highly desirable
- Ability to adapt recipes and establish a diverse menu catering to various cuisines
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills under fast-paced environments
- Experience in the hospitality industry or luxury dining establishments is a plus
