**Senior Wet Utilities Design Engineer**

**Doha, Qatar**

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Senior Wet Utilities Design Engineer **to join our team. In this role you will get to review the detailed designs, construction drawings together with Tender and Contract documents.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Familiar with load demand calculations for large and small private developments and also for mixed used developments.
- Perform design/analysis calculations related to wet utilities such as Treated Sewage Effluent, potable water, Foul Sewer, stormwater networks using PWA and Kahramaa guidelines.
- Review Tender drawing submittals and performs technical bid analyses.
- Provide technical guidance to CAD Designers, Drafters, and Junior Engineers working on the same project.
- Extracts engineering information from CAD drawings.
- Prepares engineering computations, material quantity takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and designs.
- Completes a variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes.
- Frequently interfaces with other Engineering disciplines as well as other departments.
- Reviews supplier drawing submittals and provide comments.
- Provides technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution
- Minimum 12 years of infrastructure engineering design particularly water and wastewater networks
- 5 years or experience in Qatar/GCC region
- Demonstrated previous PMCM experience
- Proven ability to perform technical role
- Conversant with Potable Water & Fire Fighting / Treated Sewage Effluent / Foul Sewer/ Storm Water regulations such as Kahramaa, Public Works Authority, MME, QCDD and other relevant authorities in Qatar
- Through knowledge of local codes, industry practices/regulations and standards including Authorities guidelines and Qatar national standards
- Knowledge of current technology and its effective use on the project.
- Good spoken and written English is essential.Ability to work well within a project team of mixed nationalities

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:

- Advanced presentation, problem solving and communication skills.
- Experience in design and review of network models using SewerGems, WaterGems, Infoworks ICM and similar hydraulic design software.
