Supports QU Health Director of Research & Graduate Studies managing a wide range of research projects and drive those towards translation and/or commercialization.

Supports QU Health Director of Research & Graduate Studies on strategic projects, including planning, implementation, assessment, and monitoring.

Initiates fundraising initiatives for QU Health research and links to industry.

Directs Principle Investigators (PIs) within QU Health, and affiliated institutions in day-to-day operations, including the preparation of project updates, management of daily operations and collaborations.

Supports the implementation of clinical research projects.

Communicates effectively with team members and management to relay translational activities issues and implements necessary actions in response to those issues.

Builds and maintains relationship and network with current external partners.

Initiates, plans and executes activities to facilitate business collaboration and to raise awareness of opportunities.

Sourcing, evaluating and identifying new innovation projects with commercial potential.

Provide market research & analysis in research areas & identify potential opportunities & commercial/ strategic partners.

Support the creation of businesses through business plan development, providing due diligence, assisting with patenting and other preparation work together with QU’s designated departments.

Markets projects to external partners through the creation of white papers or other marketing materials.

Helps with external research collaborations and funding opportunities.

Liaises with QU Health Director of Research & Graduate Studies to ensure proper coordination of commercialization strategies.

Monitors, evaluates, compares and relates information from across the organization.

Identifies broader implications of proposed solutions across the organization.

Perform other tasks and duties that may be occasionally required in order to meet the requirements of the role and the aims of the University.

Prepare annual report on conducted and planned activities

**Qualifications**:
Masters degree in field related to health sciences and/or medicine and/or business and obtained from an accredited university is necessary.

PhD in related field is preferred
