AtkinsR alis is looking for a MEP Team Leader in Doha, Qatar.****

*Job Summary:*

We are seeking a skilled and experienced MEP Team Leader to oversee the maintenance and operations of Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems within residential compounds. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Facilities Management, not construction, and will be responsible for leading a team of technicians to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety and quality standards.

*Key Responsibilities:*

  • Lead and supervise MEP technicians in daily operations, preventive maintenance, and reactive repairs across compound properties.
  • Ensure all MEP systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, etc.) are functioning efficiently and meet regulatory standards.
  • Coordinate with FM management to plan and execute maintenance schedules and improvement projects.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, work quality, and service delivery.
  • Troubleshoot complex MEP issues and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and asset conditions.
  • Ensure compliance with Qatari regulations and company policies related to health, safety, and environment (HSE).
  • Liaise with residents and property management to address service requests and resolve issues promptly.
  • Support procurement and inventory management of MEP-related materials and tools.

*Qualifications & Experience:*

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in Facilities Management, specifically within compound or residential property environments.
  • Proven leadership experience in managing MEP teams.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical distribution, plumbing networks, and fire safety systems.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems and maintenance reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

*Preferred Skills:*

  • Certification in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing systems.
  • Knowledge of Qatari building codes and FM regulations.
  • Experience with energy efficiency and sustainability practices in FM.
