Advise and support the Operations & Maintenance Manager within the Drainage Networks Operations and Maintenance Department.


• Play the lead role in ensuring the Vision and Values becomes part of the culture of the Drainage Networks Operations and Maintenance Department.


• Advise and support the management by providing expert technical, strategic and operational advice on all aspects of Asset Management within drainage networks O&M


• Evaluate and recommend on Organization structure, policies, strategies, procedures and practices on Asset Management for the transformation of drainage networks O&M


• Advise on improvements on risk management, operational output and performance within various Sections to ensure drainage networks O&M services objectives are achieved and sustained

Applicants should meet the following criteria

  • A degree in engineering
  • A proven track record of Asset Management within wastewater operations & maintenance (O&M)
  • Minimum of 30 years' experience post graduation experience,
  • 10 years + of working in the Wastewater Industry
  • 5 years working in Operation and Maintenance organization.
  • Have worked to international standards
  • Knowledge and Experience in Wastewater Industry.
  • In depth knowledge of Operation & Maintenance, Project Management, Contract Management or/and Financial Management.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Control Procedures.
  • Ability to influence and engage stakeholders and staff at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-motivated, team player, taking responsibility for self and team delivery to deadlines.
