Job Summary:

A Doha-based hospitality company is hiring a Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee daily cleaning operations and support staff management in a hotel environment. The role involves supervising housekeeping activities, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining supplies and cleanliness in guest and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise housekeeping staff and daily cleaning tasks
  • Inspect rooms and public spaces for cleanliness and compliance with hotel standards
  • Assign duties and manage work schedules for housekeeping staff
  • Report maintenance or repair needs to relevant departments
  • Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and linens
  • Assist with enforcing hygiene and safety standards

Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in Hospitality or related field
  • At least 3 years of housekeeping experience in a hotel, with 1+ year in a supervisory role
  • Familiarity with hotel software systems (Opera, IDS, or similar)
  • Ability to lead a team and maintain quality standards
  • Proficient in English (Arabic is a plus)
  • Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Applicants must be located in Qatar with a transferable visa
