Qatar Airways are pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our Compliance Department in Group Risk, Safety and Security Division as a Senior Manager, Compliance to be based in Doha, Qatar.

In this pivotal role, you will assist VP Compliance Monitoring Technical in effective implementation and continuous improvement of operational strategies to ensure Compliance monitoring activities across the CAMO and MRO organization meet and maintain all regulatory and safety compliance requirements.

You will be responsible for creating, managing, and enhancing the compliance framework, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring robust compliance standards across the CAMO and MRO organization.

*Specific Responsibilities For The Role Include:*

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance monitoring processes and procedures within assigned areas of responsibility.
• Establish and manage a Compliance monitoring System as required by regulatory standards.
• Ensure an independent audit system is developed, managed, and maintained to meet company and regulatory requirements standards (e.g., IOSA/EASA/QCAA Part M, 145, 147).
• Establish and monitor control measures and key performance indicators related to safety and compliance.
• Manage, develop, and maintain the competency and standards of compliance monitoring personnel.
• Review and interpret regulatory updates and amendments, ensuring timely communication and implementation of required organizational changes.
• Take up additional projects and change initiatives as required by VP Compliance Monitoring Technical.

Qualifications
About you
The successful candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Aeronautical Engineering or aircraft maintenance
• ICAO Type II License AML
• Training on IOSA/EASA/QCAA Part M, 145, 147regulations
• Training on auditing techniques
• Received training on at least 2 aircrafts types operated by Qatar Airways
• 10 years' experience in Continuing Airworthiness / Maintenance organization environment / Civil Aviation Authority / Compliance Monitoring/Quality Assurance Functions.
• At least 5 years as an lead/internal /certified auditor.
• Experience in quality assurance management roles for Part M, 145 & 147 approved organizations.
• Strong knowledge of airworthiness, and compliance processes and methodologies.
• Experience as an aircraft Maintenance engineer and previous experience as nominated post holder in compliance monitoring role (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage change within teams.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Strong managerial, mentoring, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency with computer databases such as AMOS, Industry leading Compliance and MS Pbi (preferred).
