Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain document control systems for technical drawings, specifications, procedures, and reports.
  • Receive, log, track, and distribute incoming and outgoing documents in accordance with project protocols.
  • Ensure proper version control and document status tracking (e.g., revisions, approvals, superseded files).
  • Coordinate with engineering, QA/QC, procurement, and project teams to ensure timely document flow.
  • Archive and retrieve documents as required, maintaining structured filing systems (electronic and hard copy).
  • Prepare transmittals, document registers, and status reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO standards, shipyard documentation procedures, and client requirements.
  • Support audits and inspections by providing accurate and up-to-date documentation.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in document control, preferably in shipyard, marine, or industrial projects.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and document management best practices.
